For Legion Lake - Custer State Park: Lovely small campground, with large, well-spaced electric sites. Beautifully maintained with spotless bathrooms, and free unlimited hot water showers. The only con was that there is only one water spigot for the entire campground, and it is exactly one 50 foot water hose length away from your fill tank - be aware! We had to do some maneuvering to get our hose to reach. Great camp hosts. Lovely Legion Lake across the street has a great .75 mile walking trail around it with great swim beach.

For Legion Lake - Custer State Park: Pros:
- well laid out sites, a couple may be a little tight for big rigs. Never felt crowded.
- well maintained and clean bath house
- trail head right in camp ground
- directly across the street from the lake
Cons:
- no laundry
- no playground, there is one next to the lake but it's across a very busy road
- no bike path.
- no dump site. A centralized dump facility for the park is a couple of miles down the road.
Final Words:
I WOULD stay here again. This is a great quiet place to relax for a long weekend or to base out of for sight seeing. Sites fill up fast here!
