For Whispering Pines Family Campground: Small and very quiet campground. There are mostly full-time and seasonal renters, but there are a few spots available for short term travelers. We needed a last minute site to get our refrigeration unit addressed. Shook鈥檚 Mobile RV Tech recommended this CG as it is literally across the street from his location. Worked out perfect for our needs. E/W site with onsite dump. Gorgeous small swimming pool. Lots of yard games available (horseshoes, cornhole, mini-golf, volleyball). Text Camp Host at (412)965-4210 to find out if sites are available. Then you can complete your reservation using self-serve kiosk at front of campground. It鈥檚 pretty low-key here and everyone we met was very helpful and friendly.

For Whispering Pines Family Campground: Nice little campground electric and water only with a dump station not far away, restrooms are nice good hot water for showers. In a very quiet area where we芒鈧劉ve seen deer almost every day. Owner/manager Is very low-key they do have 10 spots but the RV spots are pretty good you might need to level your unit a little bit but otherwise it芒鈧劉s good. I would highly recommend this place if you芒鈧劉re visiting the Pittsburgh area and south it芒鈧劉s in the city of Washington.
