For Deschutes Campground - Cove Palisades State Park: Stayed in C loop. This is a wonderful camp ground, just be sure to pick the right site. We squeezed our 29 ft camper into the 37ft site with just enough room for the truck parked catty wompers. Many sites have trees and rocks placed so that you can not overhand the rear of the camper or park a vehicle along side. The views are incredible from this loop with lots of juniper trees providing shade and there is a laundry. Access to hiking trails and boat ramps is walking distance. We extended an additional day. The drive is longer than the Crooked river loop but well worth it. Be patient crossing the bridge and wait for traffic to cross or finish crossing the bridge as this is not really a 2 lane bridge if you are towing.
