For Mclaren Campsite - St Lawrence: Grassy large sites in moderate shading. We were there after a couple days of rain and many of the sites were saturated. We loved the campground but were very disappointed by the filthy bathrooms and shower area. Its just inexcusable. Its so easy to hire someone who will use a little elbow grease to tidy things up. Their camp store had bare necessities. We were in a teardrop trailer without wet bath so had to use the showers, but put our potty tent up so we didn't have to use the other facilities.

For Mclaren Campsite - St Lawrence: We tried staying at one of the 4 places on hoople island with our motorhome but the site (all 4 sites) do not have leveled sites and require a drive a grassy hill. We decided to not drive as were anxious not getting back up again. When we went back to the check in the staff agreed and refunded the money. The ranger even offered us a free night at the camping as an excuse.
The 4 sites at hoople island looked beautiful and I would recommend it if you have a tent to stay in.
