For Main - Shawnee State Park: Really liked this state park campground. We were here the end of February and they had a shower/bathroom house open!! Lots seemed a bit small and not always level. Loved that there is a playground and a miniature golf area that was there during the regular summer season. Nice hiking trails close by. State parks really know how to do it right!

For Main - Shawnee State Park: VERY attractive campground in a beautiful State Park in the Appalachian foothills. The campground is probably best suited for those tenting or traveling in smaller RVs as the area is hilly, heavily wooded, and space for larger units is limited. Both roads and site pads are paved. The bath houses are older but clean and well maintained. Open year round - the front bath house is heated to accommodate winter campers.
