For Cooperstown Family Campground: Not much of a campground for the money. We came in the middle of the afternoon of a Sunday in September. It was defiantly off the beaten path! Lots of winding bumpy roads. When we got there the office was closed with a note on the door to pick a spot and they would be there @ 5. I went back to check in at 5. I was asked if I wanted to pay $4 more for cable tv, which I did. Nothing else to do, as it was cloudy and dreary. I would have appreciated if she would have told me the showers had NO hot water! I realize it was late in the season and it's obvious that they don't get too many campers on week days other than the permanent campers. We have a camper van so we rely on the campground showers. The doors to the showers rooms were made of rustic barn wood. They had springs and hooks on them and when we were looking at them, one of the doors came closed on my husbands arm and part of the spring was sticking out and tore his arm. No stitches necessary, but I was glad he is up to date with his tetanus shot. Not a nice camping experience and we will NEVER be back.
