For Trout Lakes Campground: My dad brought us up here multiple times each year starting in the 60's.
As a kid back then it was a wilderness playground. Stayed at Heron this week and decided to drive to Trout Lakes yesterday. Still as beautiful as ever only now I appreciate the beauty a bit differently. I was there for 6 hours and had the place to myself. Caught 3 rainbow, each measuring 14 inches. If quiet forest beauty is your thing this is the place. Nearly 30 years since my last visit and the memories came rushing back. Thanks dad.
