For Kirtland AFB FamCamp: Stayed for 6 days and had a nice stay. Nice pull thru site with full hookup. Plenty of space and picnic tables right where you park. Did not use restrooms, or showers, just used my RV. Will definitely stay again if I’m passing thru or visiting again. $25 a night for full hookup. Remember to use the Truman Gate. All other are too small for RV’s.

For Kirtland AFB FamCamp: Stayed for two days 16-17 July. Didn’t see any of the staff in the check-in office. It’s kinda check-in yourself and pay kinda thing when I arrived past 1700H. Nice/clean area and with more elbow room. One shower area in men’s bathroom. Some area have cement pad. PX/Commissary about 1 mile away. Will stay here again when I’m the area.

For Kirtland AFB FamCamp: Excellent facility and great staff. We were able to get a spot with trees and concrete pad. We especially appreciated the dog park. Would stay again.

For Kirtland AFB FamCamp: Well run by caring people. Arriving people after hours don't always mark there spots on provided clip board. Phone on wall answered by camp host after hours "D" please and willing to do whatever you need. bathrooms and laundry dated but all clean and functional. I left my surge protector🙈 "D" called and aranged to send it to me. Janice (?) also pleasant and kept spaces accurate. Overa great value pleasant staff.

For Kirtland AFB FamCamp: Do not use these directions. Gate is narrow and hard to navigate. Left my ladder at the gate. Use Wyoming gate

For Kirtland AFB FamCamp: Need to spend some money on the electric hookups. Outlets are loose and cause sparking, plugs will not stay in the outlets, some are cracked and broken. Periodic inspection and maint would find these problems.

For Kirtland AFB FamCamp: What a lovely FamCamp! Plenty of space for all, granted this IS the off-season but the weather is still quite beautiful for January! We stayed here in our 44’ toy hauler.
It is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED by staff/SF for bigger rigs to use the TRUMAN Gate off of Gibson Ave.
Both the Truman and Eubank gates are open 24/7.
The Gibson and Wyoming gates have limited hours of operation M-F.
(It’s nice visiting a base that actually informs you of their gate hours.)
Security Forces at guard shacks are very well-versed in providing directions to the FamCamp and are very personable and friendly!
Pretty quiet stay in general and the dog park is great! Didn’t check out the bathroom or laundry facilities but the walking paths from the FamCamp through housing are very nice, well lit, provide doggie bags and trash cans along the way, walk past multiple playgrounds, and can even walk the entire pathway to Hardin Park which also has a well lit pathway around it.
Overall we enjoyed our stay here at Kirtland FamCamp and will be back!
