For The Lakeside at Thorburn Campground: We stayed here mid August. Kids may like it and not care that the sites are unkempt and utilities are on the wrong side of the site requiring either a very long power cord or positioning so close to the post that there is no room for an awning or chairs. For 30% more than average sites in the area, this place should provide better sites. At least take them to clean up the beer caps and garbage....will not stay here again.

For The Lakeside at Thorburn Campground: Great place for family. Lots to do, nice beach , friendly staff. Convenient location (right off TCH). Entry off highway is a little hazardous as no turn lane and is not clearly marked.
