For ShortCreek Dam: I didn芒鈧劉t stay here because it was closed on Tuesday/Wednesday. But I did spend about five hours here resting in the heat of the afternoon while working on a photography project. It芒鈧劉s so quiet and peaceful. A beautiful lake and plenty of mildly shaded campsites. No one was there so I just let my dog wander around. Pit toilets and a shaded picnic area. Plenty of fishing docks if that芒鈧劉s your thing. A view toward Canada, just a few miles away. Cell service goes to Canada, so it may be wise to check your plan. Overnight stays were $7.
