For William B Umstead State Park: We have a 16 foot Winnebago mini, a new going in that this was a primitive campground without power or water to each site. However, the site we were signed had blocks in front of the driveway which did not allow us to pull our camper in. We called the Ranger at least three times, but ended up parking outside of our site. That being said, the site was beautiful, the road was lovely with lots of access for biking. The bath house was clean and they were outside thanks for doing dishes.

For William B Umstead State Park: May 2018...arrived just before closing. They charged us a reservation fee of 6$ and we did not reserved! 2 nites = 36$. We have a 22芒鈧劉 Rv and i was ok since it芒鈧劉s for tent only, no electricity. We slept in the parking lot of our site which is not levelled. You stop here only if you really need to be disturbed by the noise of the planes and if you enjoy dirty bathroom with full of black moisture...let芒鈧劉s put it that way: if it was 10$/nite i think you get for your money!!! And if you badly need a shower it芒鈧劉s okay. Otherwise the park is beautiful with plenty of trails. But I would not come back here. Hope you don芒鈧劉t mind my review, but I really had to tell you all !
