For Contentnea Creekside City Park: We were camping here to visit ECU campus. Paid for two nights - and could only manage to stay for one. Significant power issues in first spot. Moved locations and still had issues. In addition, it seemed like lots of 芒鈧搒hady芒鈧 things going on in the back part of the campground. People randomly driving through and parking for an hour (not getting out of car). A police car drove through at one point, and one of the cars immediately left. Early in the morning, one gentleman drove up in a sedan - unpacked a push-mower from his trunk and mowed part of one camping spot. He packed up and left after only just a few minutes. It is a very large park...no one could push-mow the campground. Would not recommend any family stay here. It is a shame....seemed like it could be a very special campground. Very spacious, right on the river, huge sites w full hookups.

For Contentnea Creekside City Park: City park but could use some more maintenance. Bathrooms were dirty. Some sites have workers full time. Sites were level at least.
