For Lewis and Clark Caverns State Park: A very nice park to explore in summer in spite of the high non resident camping fee ($34) for power site.
The problem is in winter. They have the campground open all year. But a site in winter is $30 for power, no water, pit toilet. Non resident. Same would get you a full hookup site anywhere south. With hot showers . In fact $20 in Utah, and $18 in New Mexico.. So this park is overpriced in winter. On the positive side there are few visitors. Wonder if the price is a factor.
