For Stockton State Park: We stayed overnight in January 2018. Had the entire campground to ourselves. Nice sites, widely spaced. There is a huge marina near the campground, and the lake is renowned for its fishing, sailing and windsurfing. I'm sure it's a very busy place if you're not here in winter.

For Stockton State Park: The Government shutdown made it hard to find a camping spot this weekend October 5, 2013. Glad we found this one. It is a beautiful little park. Lots of campers and dogs too. Not secluded like I prefer but good for RV's. Even so I would come. Back. I caught keeper bass from the bank. Like this area. No huge towns around close
