For Camp Itasca: Very nice alternative to camping in the Itasca State Park. The 100% reservable campsite program in the Minnesota State Parks is quite detrimental to camping within the state park. I had reserved a campsite using the state park reservation system, only to find out by driving through, that my rig could not maneuver the road back to the site. I cancelled (with a fee) and drove over to Camp Itasca. Planned to stay one week; stayed two. Only 1/2 mile from the north entrance to the state park, 3 miles from the headwaters, about 5 miles from Douglas Lodge. I recommend Camp Itasca.

For Camp Itasca: Love this place! Very nice and friendly host. The best Wifi I have ever had among RV sites. One minute outside of Itasca State Park, which is the headwaters of Mississippi.
Will definitely come back!
