For Megunticook Campground: Beautiful campground - woodsy feel. Owners very nice. Chairs by Ocean a definite plus. Lots of trees and shade. Only negative is electricity in two 30 amp site well below normal.

For Megunticook Campground: Very nice mix of clean usable facilities and woodland camping. Great feel...many nice sites both pull through and back in.

Stayed 5 nights and good access to Mid-Maine coast. Bar Harbor about 2 hours, but an enjoyable drive with a lot to see/do in between.

Enjoyed their deck areas watching seals and porpoises in evening and morning. Beautiful view.

New owners very friendly and helpful. Definitely worth a stay. We will visit again. 28' TT

For Megunticook Campground: Beautiful place. Wonderful people, and owners. They have put in a lot of work to make the campground nice. The showers are outstanding, wifi is terrific and strong. We arrived in our small motorhome, and were greeted with a friendly face. They had a lobster bake the day we arrived, and it was really tasty. The view over the water is wonderful with seating on their deck overlooking the bay.

Will plan on returning to this campground to explore more of Maine. We camped here in a small motorhome 7/29/17

For Megunticook Campground: Wonderful campground with nice wooded sites. Feels like a state park. Beautiful overlook to the ocean. New showers and clean bath house. Very friendly owners. Great looking tent sites. Sites are mostly level and new owners are putting in a lot of work.
