For Spacious Skies Balsam Woods Campground: What a gem off the beaten path. We were looking for a place to explore central Maine. We loved this place! The location was great for several really great hikes and drives (don芒鈧劉t miss Borestone Mtn). The sites are huge and wooded. We were there for one night that they had a little Halloween thing, decorated sites and costumes and the place was packed and fun. Then everyone left on Sunday and we practically had the place to ourselves. It was quiet, and beautiful and we would definitely recommend. We stayed in F-18, a full hookup back in site near the laundry. Great site.

For Spacious Skies Balsam Woods Campground: Yep! Its as good as the other reviews say!!!! Lots of rain when we were here, so it got a little muddy. A fresh coating of gravel would help. We are at the end of the season, so i imagine they will do that at the beginning of the next season. Love it! We will definately be back!!
