For McCoys Ferry Campground - Chesapeake Ohio Canal NP: Nice campground. We found it very clean all around. The pit toilets were clean. Water still available in October. No pads, just park on the grass along the Potomac. Be sure to walk up to the canal behind the campground. It has a hiking trail along the haul path. I accessed it from the interesting tunnel that is right at the entrance. Historic spot.

For McCoys Ferry Campground - Chesapeake Ohio Canal NP: Campground is right on the Potomac. Our campsite neighbor said the fishing was excellent. The sites are spacious but the firepits were filthy. There was dog poop everywhere. Surprisingly the porta potties were immaculate. I willcnot camp here again.
