For Acadiana Park: Called to make a reservation left a message after finding something online. I did get a return call telling me there would be space. Like the other reviews say it is in a residential area and the sites are a little rundown. The person that checked us in suggested a different pull thru site than the one I reserved. I did go with his suggestion, no need to unhook, even though there was a reserved sign. As it turned out we were the only people in the park. No one bothered us, our dog love having the park all to himself. I would stay again.

For Acadiana Park: Nice park friendly staff topped off in what seems like the middle of nowhere but it's just passed a newer residential area. Reason I'm only giving 4 stars is the showers never got hot. Yes we would stay there again.

For Acadiana Park: Rustic little campground in the middle of the city. Does need spruced up, but it was convenient, quiet and relatively inexpensive at $25/night (elec & water - no sewer). Had a great spot backed up to the creek (which was dry at the time), but it is a flash flood area, so parts of the park should be avoided in heavy rain. Would definitely camp there again.

For Acadiana Park: Pass on this one. Rundown and in need of some serious TLC. And we didn't feel safe here. They put the gate code on the voicemail message when you call the park for off hours. They have a gate with a code lock and then leave is on a public message? Wha? Consequently, we had a large group (not campers) come in at 9pm and have a party in the middle of the campground. Went on for hours. No after hours number to call. The park has potential and COULD be nice they just need some improvements and solve their security problem.

For Acadiana Park: Beautiful little park, but needs lots of cleanup! Nature Center is a nice addition.

For Acadiana Park: Convenient to I10 and downtown Lafayette, but it's pretty dirty. We will take showers in a truck stop. We were here on Good Friday through Easter Sunday and the atmosphere was super festive which I didn't mind at all. If you don't enjoy Cajun and creole music and food you might not like the park.

For Acadiana Park: We have stayed here twice & both times the showers burn you and you can not adjust them. This is both men's showers
