For Starve-Hollow State Recreation Area: Nice campground but the people in the gate house were quite rude. No place to exercise our dog. DNR patrolled quite often making sure we didn芒鈧劉t step out of line. Site very close together. Won芒鈧劉t be back.

For Starve-Hollow State Recreation Area: Nice campground芒鈧�漛ut be aware of two things. First, they are going to charge you a $9 entry fee upon arrival. It would have been nice to have known that my camping costs would have cost me another $9 just to get to my site. Second, the pull throughs are not laid out very well. They are laid out like a square which makes it very difficult to hook up if you are not wanting to unhook your toad.

For Starve-Hollow State Recreation Area: This is a beautiful, well maintained state recreation area with full hook-up sites separate from the lakefront electric-only sites. We opted for lakefront and are so glad we did. Sites are spacious and shady and directly on the water with gorgeous views; Moderately level with reliable electric service. There are water spigots spaced thoughout the campground but recommend you come with full fresh water tanks. There is a wash basin for rinsing dishes and washing hands. Staff was very friendly and showers/restrooms were kept clean. A very enjoyable park for a few nights stay.
