For Nickerson Park Family Campground: Beautiful river-front location. Family-run campground that really does feel like family. Had a bit of Verizon signal and also if you stay close to the (beautiful!) lodge you can get their WiFi. Oddly both went out every morning for about half an hour.

For Nickerson Park Family Campground: To be fair - this rv campground is in a pretty location right next to a river with a nice walking path along the river. It would be easy to give this campground 4-5 stars except that the owner is so cheap!! Maybe it芒鈧劉s different when you stay in the summer, but we stayed for 3 months in the winter only because no where is open. Our septic was full when we arrived but the owner wouldn芒鈧劉t pay an employee to come empty it so we dealt with tanks that wouldn芒鈧劉t drain the entire time. They have internet in the main building but won芒鈧劉t install boosters for the rest of the campground so if you want internet he tells you open an acct with spectrum for $80 down and $50 a month. They have laundry but he doesn芒鈧劉t pay to heat the room so you have to go into town to do laundry. They have showers but you have to pay with quarters by the minute in order to use them. I seriously have never stayed at a park where the owners have been so tight fisted. It just put a sour taste in your mouth and ruined what could have been an enjoyable stay. Like I said - maybe it芒鈧劉s different in the summer but do not stay in the winter!!

For Nickerson Park Family Campground: Relaxing campground with a beautiful stream flowing through it. Owner friendly and very accommodating to customers. Huge recreation hall with fireplace. If you want quiet and relaxation Check it out.
