For Elk Creek Campground: I came upon this lovely place when I was stuck in Glenwood Springs with nowhere to stay. I'm so glad they were full! The hosts are extremely kind and friendly. The location is so beautiful! Right on the creek, with lots of woods. I was a refugee from a failed vacation in 119 degree Las Vegas. This oasis was 90 during the day, but it felt cooler because of the woods and it got down to the 70's at night. I stayed first on my way to Vegas, then again on the way back to Wisconsin. I think this will be a destination for me in the fall. The sites are close together, but the heavy vegetation lends some privacy. The new owners are planning some exciting renovations. I can't wait to return!

For Elk Creek Campground: Okay Bo is the new owner and this place is in good hands now- to list all the ways he was personable and accommodating would not be possible. We were a group of 12 and we all left better people having rubbed shoulders with this beautiful person. His hard work and get it done mentality is inspiring and I have no doubt every time We come here it will be better and better cause this guy can芒鈧劉t stop moving 芒聺陇茂赂聫and he芒鈧劉s determined to create an environment of enjoyment and friendship! It was just beautiful by the river! We will definitely stay here every-time we come this way! Thank you!

For Elk Creek Campground: Stayed 10/7-8/20 I called but told no room for my size rig. We had friends stay good there and they talked to mgr. They did squeeze us into 2 lots but they are in close down mode so ok Camp is rugged and best if you rig is 26 or less if you want chance to fit. Close to a lot of good hiking and hosts were very friendly and accommodating.

For Elk Creek Campground: Pass on this campground! Website says must call, I did twice with only voicemail, left msg both times and never received call back. Sent email and got response that they would contact me first thing on Monday and now it芒鈧劉s Thursday, no reply to my follow up email. Can芒鈧劉t rate the actual campground since we obviously didn芒鈧劉t get to stay. I芒鈧劉d keep moving along and catch next campground.
