For Wawona - Yosemite National Park: We stayed in Wawona Campground for 8 nights in April. We were in Site 21 first then moved to Site 9 which fit our needs with a truck camper better. Not all of the loops were open for the season yet so it was full each night. Get there in the morning and you'll get a site. Most people were coming in just before dark and finding them all taken. This is dry camping but there are bathrooms with flush toilets. They turned on the water spigots the last few days we were there. This is a first come, first serve campground until mid April then it goes to all reservations. Loop C is really nice with more space between sites. The Merced River runs all along the campground. Extremely beautiful as is all of Yosemite NP. There is a dump station and water fill up right down the road just past the Wawona Pioneer Settlement. We had a blast in Yosemite and will definitely be back.

For Wawona - Yosemite National Park: This has been our favorite place to stay, and we travel the country 6-7 months out of the year! Very pet & family friendly, quiet hours are well respected, programs led by rangers each night, the friendliest staff we've ever encountered, and so much to do! It's in Yosemite, but we honestly wanted to stay at the campground! The creek is BEAUTIFUL and offers many private areas to sunbathe or read. Our only regret was not bringing tubes or floats! Many locals there, and all had floats! You can put in anywhere upstream and just float to wherever your campsite is. Incredible place!
