For Fremont Peak State Park: Amazing views from sites 7 and 8 especially. Watched the sunset over a fogbank. It was like watching it set over the ocean. Large oak trees provide shade and lots of bird watching. We were here on a Wednesday in August, only 3 out of a dozen sites were taken. Pit toilets, water spigots are convenient to every site. Super quiet! Hiked the 2.4 mile loop from campground to the peak with 360 degree views. Only downsides, flies and narrow steep road that seems to go on forever, with steep drop off. We camped in a small trailer, wouldn鈥檛 want to bring a big RV here.
