For San Clemente State Beach: Like the prior reviewer, our stay suffered from being next to a huge agglomeration of screamy noisy unsupervised kids. Other than that, the no hookup campsites and the campground in general was really nice. The location is a hidden gem being only about a 5 minute watch to a beautiful Southern California beach but OMG, what is a huge congregation of kids doing at a campsite midweek. Was there a mass expulsion from the local schools?
