For Grasshopper Flat Campground: Not a bad campground overall. We were expecting a CG on a lake but it鈥檚 actually on the side of a hill overlooking a lake. A handful of sites have a nice direct view of the lake but most have an obstructed view through the trees - if at all. There is a trail along the shore separating the CG from the water which is a very nice walk. The bank along parts is a steep drop to the water. The loops and parking pads are paved and nicely spaced but lack privacy as the setting is mature trees cleared of undergrowth. Many are not level. The bathrooms with flush toilets were clean but in need of a rehab. Some large noisy groups present even though it was midweek. $38 for a standard non electric site in a USFS CG seems steep and they want $17 to dump - whoa!
