For Ghost Mountain RV Campground: First, this is a private, membership only campground. That is not clear in the allstays information. The only way to stay here is if you are a member, a guest of a member or are willing to listen to a 90 minute sales pitch which must be scheduled prior to you actually camping here. We were tired after a long day on the road and agreed to 2 free nights here (they offered 3 free). The overall setting is large and very natural. Plenty of shade with big pine trees. Lots of trails to walk, pool, playground, dog park etc and the buildings built by Paramount for the 芒鈧揤irginian芒鈧 (pretty cool). But all of the facilities are old and tired. While several of the sites (all gravel) are level, most are not. There is no sewer hookup although we were told it had all hookups. They do have a 芒鈧揾oney wagon芒鈧 3 times a week which takes care of this but when I had specifically asked about 芒鈧揳ll hookups芒鈧 to respond yes was misleading . They do have security which is a plus but he was the first person we encountered at 4pm after a long day of traveling and he was surly. Our first contact gave us a bad impression. Our opinion is they芒鈧劉re trying to offer diverse options (camping, guest campers, cabins, tents, options for horses and their people) which is admirable but they need to first invest in the current facilities infrastructure to modernize them

For Ghost Mountain RV Campground: Very nice and clean, lots for kids to do. Bring your own fire pit, not many full hook ups, clean bathrooms, they serve breakfast but we prefer to camp near water. Only fishing pond.
