For Rio Bend RV Resort Ranch: This review is not about staying at Rio Bend RV Resort Ranch (RIO) in El Centro because unfortunately I was unable to stay there. It鈥檚 about the poor customer service of their front office and being unable to make reservations in spite of repeated attempts to do so. My wife and I have stayed at the Fountain of Youth Spa and RV Resort (FOY) near Niland for 5-6 months the last 5 winters. We were happy with FOY - it鈥檚 a wonderful park - but my wife wanted a change of scenery and something that was less remote. An internet search turned up RIO and it looked interesting so we drove down to look at the park a couple of times. Each time the office was closed in spite of us being there during the posted hours it was supposed to be open. I tried repeatedly to call the office to make reservations only to get no answer but a message saying their mailbox was full. I even called the restaurant and asked them to leave a message for the office to call me back but never received a call back. Finally I sent them a message through their website trying to make a reservation but got no response from that either. I鈥檝e lost all interest to stay at RIO and made reservations for next winter for 6 months at FOY again. I believe the front office of an RV park is the face to the customer and a good indication of how well the park is run in general because a front office is much simpler to run well than an entire RV park. Based on this initial poor experience with the Rio Bend RV Resort Ranch I wouldn鈥檛 enjoy staying there so I choose to spend my hard earned money elsewhere.

For Rio Bend RV Resort Ranch: I decided to stay here based on other芒鈧劉s reviews. I芒鈧劉m glad I did! It was serene, well-manicured and a great bargain with my Passport America discount. I will definitely come here again!

For Rio Bend RV Resort Ranch: This is one of the better places we have stayed. We were here for 2 weeks. Everyone was friendly. Very good pool, golf course, range and even a fully stocked pool side bar. They have 2 laundry rooms. They use pre-paid key cards. Make sure you get one on arrival. The only down side for us is they put is in site 142 which according to maintenance personnel was non functional due to a fire in the past. In fact, the sites on either side were non-functional. Don't let them put you there. We were moved to site 397. That site has problems during rainstorms. One occurred while we were there and our RV wound up in a mini-pond. Don't get this site either. Most long term tenants request that the resort put more gravel on their site before they arrive. We witnessed this. We may try this if we come back to this place next year.

For Rio Bend RV Resort Ranch: Stayed here 6 nights. Welcoming people. Played pickleball, golf, enjoyed dinner and music at Ray芒鈧劉s Place, ice cream social, etc. Would definitely stay again. Verizon service not so good. Internet okay. Able to watch Blue Angel芒鈧劉s practice from the park.

For Rio Bend RV Resort Ranch: Party on! We were here in April and snowbirds had flocked him. First RV park we have seen with a full Bar, which was by the pool. Taco Tuesday was great. Only here for one night, but looked like a fun place to meet people. Older park with park models.

For Rio Bend RV Resort Ranch: Nice enough park, private sites with plenty of foliage between, weight room, immaculate bathhouse, laundry - BUT, farmland surrounding made for a stinky place. Thankfully we were only there overnight, couldn芒鈧劉t depart fast enough. So, plan accordingly. Otherwise, nice enough park.

For Rio Bend RV Resort Ranch: We have stayed at this park 8-10 times. This last time was Jan 2018. This park has a lake, trees, nice grounds, very little noise except occasionally a military jet will go by (maybe once a week). I would give it a five star except for the messy geese. We were camped right on the pond/lake and the birds are noisy and poopy. They do have music, entertainment, bbqs, and very nice staff. I was able to get passport America rates which were only $35 which is a low price. Good place to go for a night or a week.
