For Cracker Barrel: I should have entered a review a few years ago. The Watertown NY Cracker Barrel has become a regular stop for me when travelling via the Thousand Island border crossing at I-81– both when arriving and departing the US. It’s about 6hrs from my home, so the location is perfect for a layover. It’s conveniently located just off the highway.
There is usually at least one other trailer or van in the designated RV parking spots. I have found that it’s quiet throughout the night.
The staff are always pleasant and accommodating. I generally have dinner when arriving in the US, and breakfast when returning to Canada. Both meals are excellent!
I highly recommend this—and other Cracker Barrels—as a layover stop!
