For Grandview Campground: Surprised to find several open sites on a Sat afternoon 10/2/21. Nice space between sites, in pines and sage with table and fire pits but NO FIRES currently. Primitive camping, 2 vault toilets, no water, no garbage - pack it out people. Cold 31 last night, mid 70s day. Quiet and peaceful. $10 donation and please pay to keep it going. It芒鈧劉s 5 miles from the visitor center.

For Grandview Campground: This is one of my favorite places in the eastern Sierra. Primitive, meaning no water or electricity, but I have plenty in my 20' RV or bring some along when I tent camp. The Bristlecone Pine are amazing. You need a car to get to the far spot in the park, but can make the main visitor center in an RV just fine. Its nice and quiet up here. Usually a great group of people.
