For McConnell State Recreation Area: Established campground on the Merced River. Nice big trees and underwatered grass. Watch the dogs feet for thorns. But it鈥檚 quiet November 3rd with good weather on a Friday night. 30% capacity.. maybe. Bit of an old road to come in. 28$ with old man $2 discount. Flush toilets and showers.
