For Yavapai Campground: Well laid out campground amidst granitic boulders in a sparse pinyon pine-juniper forest along the crest of a hill. At the time of our visit, April 2020, it appeared that the area had just been cleared of understory for fire control. So brush stubble and lots of ash remaining from burnt brush piles. Unfortunately, this detracts from the scenic value thus only 3 stars at this time, otherwise deserves a 5.
