For Frank Jackson State Park: APR 17-19 2025, Site 12. Great site, lots of shade, easy access to the lake. Nice park, friendly staff, clean bath house. Lake is hard to fish from the shore due to lily pads and vegetation. Bridge to small island is nice and the nature trails are easy to travel.

For Frank Jackson State Park: What wonderful lake side sites. Level with full hookups. The hike through the woods beginning at the entry booth is nice and then leads across the big bridge to the island that you can hike around. Easy walking. Very quiet.

For Frank Jackson State Park: Camped one night Thursday March 16, 2023, no reservations. Place was full and managed to snag a walk up site in the back with full hook ups, no lake view. Peaceful, quiet, pretty, if you're on the lakefront. Bathrooms/showers are decent. Not worth $40 even with the senior/veteran discount.

For Frank Jackson State Park: This campsite is a hidden gem. Most sites are waterfront. Well maintained. We stayed in site 12. It was shady with an awesome view. We will definitely stay here again

For Frank Jackson State Park: We had site 5(pull thru) right on the lake. It was quite private with a lot of space between sites, loved it. Very clean bathrooms with awesome hot showers. Nice hiking around the campground (about 3 miles). Very nice host, makes you feel very welcome and he is proud of the campground. Full hook ups. Close to the town of Opp, which has pretty good stores for a small area. Highly recommend staying here!

For Frank Jackson State Park: What A beautiful and well kept park and campground. It is a port in a pandemic storm for travelers. We will be back if we are in the area.

For Frank Jackson State Park: One of the finest state campgrounds we have ever stayed. Wifi, cable, full hookups, laundry,showers,hiking and fishing all for $38. Have paid alot more for less.
