For Rest Stop: This westbound area is open as of Feb 12, 2019. The most eastern part of the automobile parking area is relatively quiet, but the majority is loud, because in addition to the highway noise the auto parking is just a short distance from the truck parking area. The auto area is fairly empty but the truck area appears full. The rest area is posted 芒鈧8 hour limit芒鈧. There are no 芒鈧揘o overnight parking芒鈧 signs, unlike many other California rest areas. If this area is full, drive about 1 mile west, exit and cross the overpass, then take the poorly marked eastbound on-ramp and highway back east to the nearby eastbound rest area.
