No employees wearing masks, many customers not wearing masks, no signage posted about state mask mandate. When asked about the mandate and lack of masks, three employees huddled together at the register talking told me to go somewhere else and then my asthmatic child and I were followed out of the store by a patron coughing at us. Not the safest place for an interstate highway gas up and bathroom break at this time.
This is the ONLY place we stopped on our 300 mile journey through multiple states that was not following or enforcing the mandates. Unfortunately as a truck stop, it芒鈧劉s one of the most important places to have following it. If the employees are stocking, breathing, coughing on things unmasked, they would easily spread droplets to food and goods and then unsuspecting patrons are unknowingly exposed.
