RV lanes not working. Crazy busy area

29 ft motor home pulling a toad. Has 2 RV gas/diesel lanes … both closed during our visit (mandatory one star reduction ). Able to circle around and use a regular pump on the right hand side. Easy access off I-81, very close to the Wytheville KOA. Exit onto Chapman road (service road) is a bit tricky … need a copilot to look right for the driver as you cannot see oncoming traffic in that direction. Did not go in. Honored the Good Sam discount card.

This Flying J has a separate parking place for RVs out front near gas pumps. We slept here overnight and felt perfectly safe. Sometime after midnight the traffic noise quieted. After the morning traffic started around 5:00 AM we grabbed delicious cups of Pilot coffee, were waited on by friendly staff, and were quickly back on our way on I-80.

This J is far better than the one at exit 80. Better service in the Denny's too.

Bathrooms needed attention. Not cleaned in a while. Food was good.

Nice place, big car parking lot with lots of room for van and small RV overnights, big motor home spots as well. Nice staff. Fresh water was still shut off on Feb 3 but that’s expected.

Fairly new site, very clean with separate parking area for RV over night stays away from the trucks close to the Denney's , no all night air brake noise, wife was relieved. Gas pump 14 had RV dump and fuel all at one stop. I would have to say this is one of the better truck stops to stay at overnight. There is plenty of room to maneuver RV and tow around pumps and parking.

Much better than I expected. Far enough off the highway to not be too noisy. Food options are Flying J and Denny's, of course, but also Burger King in adjoining parking lot. Not too many spaces for bigger rigs. Dump station for fee, fresh water at gas pumps. We'll probably boondock here again: we're on this road a lot.

Stayed overnight boondocking. Quiet. Nice to be able to ear st Denny's early. Wondered at water in RV dump area--no separate potable water, just the "hose out your tank" water. Was able to get fresh water between gas pumps, tho. Would stay/shop/eat here again.
