Lovely and well maintained little park but beware; the RV parking area is badly infested with Goatheads.

It’s a lovely and well cared for park in a nice little community. It’s very generous of them to offer free overnight RV parking but beware: the RV parking area is a huge undefined grassy area that is infested with Goatheads. After we parked we started to take our dogs out when I noticed the tires on our towed car were covered with them.
Fortunately we got ourselves back inside with nothing but a few of them stuck in our shoes. The one dog that was on the ground when we noticed the danger, was able to get back inside safely. We moved our RV so that the door was on the gravel road and we could get to the lawn and avoid most of the goatheads but we still had to be vigilant about our shoes and dog’s feet when coming back inside.
The park is very nice and the museum is probably well worth seeing but if you have dogs beware.
