The positives: location was easy to access. The bathrooms were clean. Very nice and accommodating owner. Sites were reasonable size though the utilities are set up so you are quite close to that neighbor. The negatives: price higher than advertised and there’s a gotcha $5 dog fee. Road noise from the highway all day and night. Pet owners please pick up after your dogs! I suspect that’s the reason for the pet fee but it penalizes those of us who are responsible.

For being on the highway with nothing around thought was very expensive! Said $40 on website but with taxes & fees it came to $50? Very windy in spring. They did have nice showers tho.

We just spent 10 days here and we loved it. Maya the owner was fantastic! She worked with us to get the exact right spot and to extend our stay. Tons of cool things to see around the area. Will definitely come back the next time we come through Wheatland!

Immaculate bathrooms. Well maintained sites, level and easy to maneuver. No trees and very open; you’ll get some road noise but so convenient to Hwy 25! Excellent communication with mgt, even though we were after-hrs. (Dog people, pls clean up after your pooches, otherwise nice CGs like this one might not be so pet friendly!)

This is a clean and convenient place to stay. Sites are large and level, and the staff is friendly. It’s not in town, and there are no trees (it’s Wyoming prairie), but we did enjoy our stay after visiting Fort Laramie and the Wagon Ruts site on the Oregon Trail. Would stay again.
