We stayed here in early December. We were really happy to get a pull-through site that accompanied our 45’ Motorhome/towing with full connections in the winter. I was nervous because of the two star reviews. I must say how impressed and delighted we were to stay in such a large, clean and modern facility. It’s beautiful and well managed. The staff were gracious and accommodating. We look forward to staying here again.

Very nice and clean park. Very well maintained. But the summer hours are a joke. Every amenity is closed at 8 pm. Not pool, spa, laundry room, pool table, ping pong table all closed at 8. Doesn’t even get dark till 9 pm. For the rates you pay I found this to a bit restrictive.

Very nice newer campground. The staff works very diligently on the grass and weeds at campsites. When we arrived to our site there was dog poop - so not their focus. Rules are NOT to walk your dog in other campsites and to pick up - well people do not and they do not care to enforce. Cameras around the park but not on the dog parks. Bathrooms extremely nice and are cleaned daily. Pool was closed when we were there - hot tub limited hours and inconvenient. Not connected to any trails so you have to drive. Out of the other to options in Grand Junction this is the better choice. Cannot receive mail and they charge you for any deliveries you have coming into the park.

We drive I-70 often between Colorado and Utah, in our campervan. This was the first time we stayed at Canyon View, and we were very impressed with the quality of the layout, the amenities, and the feeling of security. It’s a Good Sam campground so we saved 10%. Bathrooms are family style, and very nicely appointed as well as very clean. Friendly staff! Convenient to the Highway, but in our van we didn’t hear any noise. Note: if you want to reserve a spot for the night, call them. Online reservations not accepted after noon for same day.

The park is very nice with a lot of amenities! Covered picnic areas, new pickle ball courts, pool, spa, splash pad, all very nice!!
Very well kept and big open spots. We didn’t even have to unhitch our tow vehicle…it fit in the pull through spot we had for one night.
The price is fairly high, particularly if you are not using the amenities.
We had a great stay!

NEVER……I paid 600 bucks upfront for the month of july. That was the deposit. Due to family issues I could not make it and had to cancel. I let them know a week in advance and asked to re-schedule. They said NO, because they were booked all summer. THEY REFUSED TO REFUND EVEN ONE PENNY. Ya think they were able to sell my spot? Of course they did. Not the type of people I want to ever deal with. Form your own opinion, I know what mine is. Great way to treat a combat disabled Veteran. They lost not only my future business but that of all people I know who spend time in their RVs.

Nice new campsites clean facilities. Only drawbacks are no shade since it’s new. Grass areas at the campsites are weeds unless you are lucky enough to get one that has sod. The free wifi internet is terrible, do not depend on it. Their gigabit service is $50/week with your own router. Gets only three stars because of the internet problems.
