*NO VERIZON OR AT&T SERVICE This has new owners (I think in 2020) and has been renamed to Black Elk Resort. Dan and Lora are wonderful hosts. You can tell they take pride in the place - it looks meticulously beautiful! The on-site Taproom was a wonderful gathering place for guests, and they were so kind to sit down with guests to help them plan their vacation activities for their stays! Poor internet (though they are actively working to improve signal strength and bandwidth). We ended up at the Rapid City Public Library during the day to work. We had enough signal in the evenings from the common areas to be able to text, email and look up maps and activities.
