We called same day and Mark the owner was so nice. He said he definitely had space and stayed in touch with us and guided us off the interstate and even met us to let us follow him in. He gave us information on the history of the area and was so welcoming. We stayed by the river in a 38 ft Class A towing a jeep and had no problems. The river site is so nice and peaceful. Open spaces with an open aluminum covering that you can park beside. We only used the electric since we were just overnight. Would definitely stay again. Thanks Mark,

Nice open campground along the lovely river. Not fancy but comfortable. Level gravel sites. Some have a covered pavilion beside them. Some are full hookup, some water and electric. Owner is very responsive to text and phone calls. We鈥檙e told there鈥檚 access to the rail trail for walking and biking, but haven鈥檛 been there. Don鈥檛 let the narrow gravel road scare you, it鈥檚 solid and the trees are trimmed. We travel in a 41鈥� motorhome towing a pickup.

What we saw of the place was more of an RV park with open, sunny slots. Owner was very nice. However, there is no bathhouse so we couldn鈥檛 stay there because we have a pop-up camper with no potty.

Beautiful spot with lots of hammocks and 芒鈧�艙porch swings.芒鈧�聺 Owner came to meet us near highway exit. Answers phone and friendly. Clean with covered picnic tables. River nearby. Would definitely return.

I've camped here a couple times. You can choose from a comfortable site with all the hookups to more primitive sites for "roughing it". The river sites are absolutely wonderful. The proprietor is constantly working to make upgrades and provide amenities to his guests, which means this campground will keep getting better and better. If you know how to do coordinates, set your GPS for 38.655102 -80.761188. That will take you right to the front gate.

This is a very peaceful area next to the river and surrounded by woods. If you have a fishing pole & time you will find a quiet place here. Mark is developing a woodsy outdoor feel....he was very accommodating and helped us to our site. We were just here for a night as we are passing through...

We stayed there 2 nights this week.It was a good stop.Mark is building something nice on the Elk River.Close to grocery,fuel and the expressway.We will be back.

Beautiful little campground with easy access of main hwy. Mark was very friendly and helpful! We will definitely come back again.
