Loved our stay here. Pretty area & close to a couple wonderful restaurants. Lots of riding trails nearby & we loved that. Our last day we went to Yellowstone Park & extremely close so not out of the way. Saw wildlife of course in Yellowstone & came back to camp & saw a mama moose & her baby. Absolutely beautiful.
Also very close to Yellowstone Playhouse which was very funny .
Definitely a great place to stay & definitely will be back!

We really enjoyed this campground. Could have stayed closer to YS west entrance, but glad we chose this place instead. A relatively short drive to west entrance and we took one day to head down to Grand Tetons. The campground is very well kept up, sights are spacious and mostly shaded, and level. Our back in site was one of the easiest to get into and we’ve traveled a lot with our 33-ft 5th wheel. Walking distance to the river and one of the best pizzas I’ve ever tasted. Laundromat and facilities maintained very well. We stayed for 6 nights and got a quiet sleep every night. You definitely pay the price to camp near Yellowstone but even so, I thought Mack’s prices were reasonable. Wifi worked OK.

Located close to Henrys Fork in Island Park - several grocery stores ( limited selection stores) close by. 30 minutes from West entrance to Yellowstone. The campground is apparently going through some changes or new management as they seemed a bit unorganized- my original stay was for 4 nights and I wanted to add to it - seemed to cause some confusion but they worked it out. The campground has 60 or so sites- some with full hookups - others with water and power only . The one draw back that caused my rate 3 vs 4 stars- one bath house with a single toilet and shower for each gender. They do keep them clean - the men’s shower had some type of hot water issue - seemed to have a mind of its own ( instant hot water heater?) they also have a laundry room on site - has about 6 washers and dyers- reasonable cost per load. The sites are mostly under trees - although close to each other- didn’t feel real crowded- and they are well kept. The campground does have Wi-fi however it was VERY dependent on your location within the park. Overall - I would stay again.
