Beautiful spacious site. There’s a nice walking trail and the campground was easy to find and convenient for our one night stay. There are some beautiful mature trees, though no shade at our back in site at 59. We would definitely return.

Mike and Cheryl here. We have a 44 foot Class A RV. Here is my review of the campground at Shawnee Forest. Getting to the campground was good. The roads in the campground are gravel and are in good condition. The trees seem to be trimmed back so not to hit the RV. The campground office was open and everyone was friendly. No camp store. There is a small parking area in the road at the office. They did provide an escort to the site but the map and signs are good. Sites have fire pits and they sell firewood. Our site was 38, a pull thru site with a gravel drive and grass patio area. There are no good views from our site, but the campground is pleasant and has nice grounds and forest. It was once a large golf course with cement walking paths. Our site was NOT level. The site was dry. There are a few seasonal folks but all look in good condition. We did not use the bathhouse. There is no pool and no hot tub. No rec room. No workout fitness room. No deli on site. The grounds are nice. No cable tv. Wifi is poor. OK Verizon cell service. Here is the bad: Site not level, poor wifi. The worst was there was dog poop all around our site. I would maybe come back. Dream Big, Travel Far, Live Well...

Easy to find! We were welcomed and hosts were friendly. We were in site 1 which is a nice big pull through. It was quiet and peaceful. We didn’t explore as we were only there for the night. I am hoping to get back in the future!

Found this place on the allstays app for one quick night. Very pleasantly surprised at how nice this was. Beautiful grounds, spacious sites and very clean laundry area It was quite chilly when we stayed so didn’t get much chance to walk the property but I would imagine during full season it is full and perfectly beautiful. If we ever come thru this area we would absolutely stay again. Loved seeing the dandelions as it means spring is soon! Thank you for a wonderful place.

Sites are big and nicely spread out. Bathrooms are very big single bathrooms with strong showers, though if the park is full there may not be enough of them. More road noise than I like but not so much that it bothered my sleep.

This campground is located on a former golf course. Although our site wasn’t level we really enjoyed the site and the beautiful view of the pond. I didn’t get a chance to talk to the owners for a little more history, we were just too busy! Bathhouse and laundry were very clean. There is a paved walkway around the pond with nice views. There is a bit of road noise in the distance but I wasn’t bothered by it at all I don’t believe this campground is very old and what they’ve accomplished so far is impressive. There is potential for so much more! The location is convenient to surrounding sites and Paducah is a 35 min drive away. Full hookups and reasonably priced. I would absolutely stay here again.

We stayed here for one short night, but had no problems with the stay. Our check-in info was waiting for us on the front porch, since the office was already closed. The lady who took our phone reservation was incredibly friendly and helpful. Easy on/off access from the interstate. Would stay here again.

We stayed here for three days. It’s a beautiful campground built on an old golf course. Beautiful ! It’s close to the interstate and you can hear some road noise but not so much that it disrupted our sleep. It’s about 20-25 minutes from Paducah or Marion. The owners are lovely and we will absolutely be back for further stays.

3 ponds stocked with fish, spacious spaces, great prices, full hookups. Found this place on a cross country trip using the Allstays app. Called when I was three hours out just to make sure I had a space, glad I stayed because the kids had a blast, and loved the layout. Jennifer was amazing to deal with. Thanks again.

Very nice park. Easy on/off I-24. Lot of pull thru full-hook up sites. Gravel level sites. Clean restrooms and laundry. Plenty of space between sites. This is a new park so not many trees. Each site has a fire ring. No cable but plenty of tv stations on antenna. Wi-fi covers part of the park but I did not use. Staff very nice. $40/ night but if you stay 4 nights price goes to $35. Will stay again.
