Mainly people staying all year around and taking FHU sites. Bathrooms were not kept clean but not horrible. Very bug infested. Limited amenities on base or in area. Internet is via campground viasat WiFi is partially functional. Cell coverage is weak to nonexistent. Neighbor could not get their Direct TV operational. It is very quite and relaxing. The base pool and gym is nice. Bowling alley is by appointment only. No play ground for kids, no camp host or activities, and since most sites are active duty living their year around, when asked, not a lot of recreation is being future projected.

Nice quiet part with concrete pads. Small bath house but its ok. When you arrive you need to check-in at MWR which is before you go thru the gate. The office is on the same side of the street as the chapel at the Mariner. Its on the left side of the road as you approach the gate. There is food service at the Mariner and gas and NEX but you have to go off the base to get to them. You'll need a toad. $24 per night.

Nice quiet campground. We enjoyed our stay and will come back. MWR folks were very nice. We initially had trouble with our electrical box. Called folks and they were there in about ten minutes to fix the problem! Awesome! Need to put a sign at Wilderness Road turn that directs to campsite. We rode all over trying to find.

Great little park that was recently reopened after months of renovations. $24 a night for full h/u and $22 for elec/water only. After staying the day before at a crappy Air Force one in Hampton, Virginia this one turned out to be a godsend. Undon
