Large Rustic sites. Trees, shrubs and distance between sites. Multiple pit toilets. Well maintained. Stop by the general store by the dam to find the sign up roster for sites and a map to locate sites. Many sites are pull through and big enough for larger campers. Dirt roads. We paid $25 a night for sites in the U.P. that weren’t as nice as this.

We truly enjoyed our time here and will return. One side of the lake has much better camping, you'll be right on the water. You will have your own beach access. No hook-ups, water from a well pump. Pit toilets located throughout. The campsites are a good size and you are far from your neighbor. Getting a spot can be difficult. This place is very popular with the locals. Also, visit the falls. They're beautiful!
