Loved it here. Site 8 was a bit unlevel but my eggs didn’t fall out of the frying pan so no worries. Great OTA Channels out of St Louis 4.2 is 24hr weather. AT&T 1 to 2 bars 5G, Verizon 1 to 2 bars LTE. As noted below 30/50 amp. We spent 2 nights early April on our semi annual migration. Peaceful and quiet and the view, history and even the cemetery made it a great place.

Stayed at Fort Kaskaskia SHS Campground for a night while heading to St. Louise. At $18/day this nice campground is a bargain. Sites are paved and long enough for both trailer and tow vehicle. Electric hook up for 20/30/50amp is in the right location. No water hookup, so fill your fresh water tank prior setting camp. Pit toilets scattered at convenient spots throughout the campground, even one at picnic/pavilion area. No shower facility here, but thankfully we have shower in our trailer. We stayed at site#27 to give extra spacing to other campers already there, but all sites have enough space between them so you don’t feel too crowded. The shelter house is being rebuild after accidental fire in 2012, that has gorgeous view of Mississippi River sunset. Dump station is near the exit. Would we stay again? Oh yes please.
