Very nice small campground that's rarely used. We stayed in site 19 and had 50 amps. No camphost, pay $10 (as of 8/1/21) at the iron ranger by the kiosk at the north gate. Good Verizon coverage, good water pressure. Cresco is an interesting village of nice people. Look for a first run movie at the historic Cresco opera house / theater at a reasonable price.

Don’t be fooled by locked gate on west side (thanks Google). Entrance on north side ungated. $10/night. Shade, electric & water hookups. Showers and dump by 4H building. We were only folks here Friday before July 4th when all resort-type sites were full. Perfect quiet spot to overnight when nothing happening at fairgrounds
