We have stayed at Big Mikes a few times. But, in April 2020 We stayed a few weeks at full hook up. We loved every minute of our stay except the big storms and warnings We had! My sisters Grandson Christian is to this day still talking about Big Mikes being His favorite place out of 6 months of traveling to different campgrounds. If you don’t like dirt and animals it’s not the place for you! Very bouncy terrain. We will be returning again someday! Hi Mike and Alice!

Mike and Alice and their farm are awesome! Our daughter really enjoyed hanging with and feeding the animals. If you have kids, be sure to bring some horse/donkey carrots. FYI, this is blueberry country and if you are around in season (April) you should have some good local fruit available. Be sure to check out the Suwannee River Sill if you're into hiking/fishing/canoeing.

This place truly is a hidden gem! It was worth the hour drive off 75 to stay here. Big Mike is such a nice guy and when we woke up in the morning we were treated by his horses outside our RV. There are donkeys, goats, and ducks on the property as well. He has a few full hookup sites, but we just needed electric which he charged us $15 for. It is a bit of a bumpy ride into the property though, so drive extra slow. Hope we get the chance to stay here again in the future.

Great place to stay for an overnight on my Motorcycle Trip to Florida on May 31. Easy In and Out from the main road and there's plenty of space. Close to town if you need anything, like a rest room or a meal. I very much appreciate being able to stay there and get a good night's sleep.

Big Mikes is a great place to stay if you like the farm life because that's what it is. It is literally in one of his fields. You may have donkeys, horses etc at your site. If your totally a city person and hate to get your shoes dirty you want like it here. Me and my wife have been here almost 2 months in a 38' diesel pusher and have enjoyed visiting with Mike and Alice they are great people.

Hidden gem alert! Yes, like the blurb says, it's free (for shorter stays; they'd like a little donation if you stay like a month)!! And yes, they have full hookups (30A only, I believe, and only like five spaces with hookups, but lots of dry space). This is literally in a field; animals might be grazing here. NO paving whatsoever (can you say, rock and roll?), but grass and doesn't appear to get muddy or prone to getting stuck. Didn't get to meet owner, but a long-term guest says they just wanted to provide travelers with someplace not expensive and there's nothing in the area. NICE! (A little tricky to find: Dirt road from the highway, with a sign opposite the road with RV in big letters. A piece south of mile 28 marker.) We've stayed in worse places at the same price!

I stayed here during hurricane Irma and it was a great place to ride out the storm. The town is close by and has what you'd need. The people are friendly. The hosts are terrific and very hospitable! There's a lot of cool stuff on the property and it is a quiet place to sleep at night. I really appreciate such a wonderful experience, especially during a storm, and it would be a fun stay anytime. The other campers were also very friendly. There's a lot of pride in the creation of this unique property and I am glad I visited!
