Beautiful setting, overlooking Big Bay deNoc, well maintained campground. Very quiet. Good internet but no cell coverage (Verizon). We were able to stream TV shows, make wifi calls. Our site was pull-thru and not level which we were advised of when making reservation. No problem as we brought blocks. Nice large sites with lots of trees for shade. Good water and reliable power. This is a great campground for kicking back and relaxing!

Super quiet, picturesque and clean. NEW owners. Got a super lakeside spot that was a slice of Pure Michigan heaven. Nice showers, bathrooms and laundry.

Very nice campground. Yes, gravel drive, gravel sites and most are not very level. But a very nice out-of-the-way and quiet campground. You may need wheel chocks and blocking to level your camper, so that’s more work than you may like. But the sites are all very nice and this is a quiet place. The walk to bar is a nice small town atmosphere. The office doesn’t ever seem to be maned, but management was easy to get ahold of. It’s not a KOA or anything like that, but a nice place. We’ll be back for sure.

First it’s kind of strange to make a reservation months in advance and having to pay in full for a 4 night stay. We arrive at 4p on a Monday driving down a dusty gravel road to find the office closed, but our arrival packet with directions to our site. The park is gravel and on the side of a hill with about 100% non level gravel sites. We have a 43’ Class A Coach and our site was so un-level, I didn’t even attempt to level. Rather, I called the number provided on the paperwork and the owner arrived and found us another site. The site was nice and large, but it too was not level. Water pressure was acceptable as was power. Never used any facilities. There is a very nice restaurant/bar and marina attached to the park, but it was closed and only 1 boat in the small marina. Both are open Wed-Sat. Both are for sale as we saw a flyer at the small store up the road. Met the owner and she was pleasant. This would be an excellent park if they would level the sites, do some weed control and give it some curb appeal. I’m sure lack of staffing and it’s location being remote doesn’t help. Been here, done that and will probably not be back.

An experience not soon forgotten! First, had to drive a pot-hole ridden road to reach the campground. Arrived at our assigned site to find low power (107 volts) and very low water pressure (barely a trickle). Had to use our generator to cook and to use our AC, and our water pump for our water needs/washing. We called the host leaving a message inviting her to come to our RV to see for herself the issues we were having. No return call. When we did see her she told us to leave the campground. This was a rainy Sunday morning and we had no place scheduled to go. After six years of full-time RVing this was something we never expected. You won’t find any negative reviews on their website as we know that they are removed. In fact, the owner herself wrote a 5-star review on her own campground - UNBELIEVABLE!

This is without a doubt the worse rv park I’ve ever been in. Starting with the dirt road with pot holes large enough to lose your car. Electric is so weak in the afternoon your voltage is down to 100 volts and will burn up your ac units. The owner is so dumb she doesn’t know the difference between low water and low voltage. Told me nothing can be done for the power because we’re in a rural area. In 11 years of full timing 95% of our rv parks have been rural with no power problems. Owner wants you to be happy and ignore all the problems and don’t dare call and say anything about them. The park host is very rude and doesn’t care or want to hear of any problems and is rarely available. So unless you work in the area and have a 20 ft. Trailer my advice is don’t go there. If it was possible I’d give it a minus 10 stars.
The post below mine that gave herself a five start rating is the owner. How conceited is that.
On top of that it’s a snake haven. One guy had to run them out his trailer twice in one evening.

Nice campground. All gravel sites. Some needed leveling blocks. Some more so than others. Lots of pull through sites. Water, sewer and electric were great. Beautiful views of the water within a short walk. Restaurant on the water is also a short walk and had good food.

New clean and family owned and run. The water view sites are especially pretty but those backing the woods are nice too. Only 41 spots so easy to get around.
Best part is the onsite restaurant The Dock and the tiki bar which has $2 happy hour every afternoon. We also rented kayaks there.

Not sure why this park received such high marks. We stayed in June 2018.
Pros: nice setting, some sites had a water view but none had beach access
Cons: unlevel sites, no cell service (even Verizon), pay for wifi, no cable/antenna tv, only 1 washer/dryer, remote and far from town
