We are a large rig (Entegra/Anthem) towing a Jeep, so needed a lot of space. We showed up around 6pm with no reservations and lucked out, one pull thru available for a night, just $35, just electric. This is a pretty state park and esp. if you have a smaller RV, we are 44’ then it makes only easier to get some first come sites. There are like 7 of those available, the rest our reserved online. It’s a newer state park and the sites all look very clean and spread out so it feels like you are by yourself. An easy choice to stay here, even if it were a longer stay.

Absolutely beautiful newer campground. The trails nearby had amazing views. The campground was very clean and up to date. We loved our stay.

Great newer campground with tables, fire rings, and grassy tent pads at our site . We were able to get a couple of Walkup sites on a weekend. Great hiking from the campground. Interpretive center and nice day use area adjacent. The sites are large and well separated plenty of room for our class A and toad. Our only complaint is that some of the spots are not level.

Outstanding state campground. Sites are well laid out and everything well maintained. Would love to stay again. $30/nite is a bargain. Great views of Denali from short hike nearby.
Only negative is no dump site. Must go elsewhere.

Gorgeous campground! Stayed here for 2 nights in our 25ft class c and loved it. Sites book up on weekends but there are a number of first come first serve only sites and we had plenty to choose from for a Weds and Thurs night stay. $30 per night for only electric hook ups but the grounds are beautifully maintained and expertly laid out. Great nature walks straight from the campground and a couple nearby trailheads. Will stay again if I’m up there way
